commercial in clayton was indeed on whalley road
coming from the canal albion..den of enequity volunteers...for posh people commercial...for local people only the albion remains sadly :( |

Well thanks folks, The Comercial, my brother said is an Indian restaurant now, He said he had his first legal pint in there, it was oppisite the old Empress Cinema, that might be a printers now, and steeljack, the chemical works your thinking of, was the old Dr Lovelace soap works, the Vic Club was across the cut oppisite. Is the mortuary & council yards still there, I remember the stone bus shelter.
