Tournament Abyss - Daily Trivia Game
I play it sometimes and struggle to make the top 50 :D

We are slow, compared to the worldwide tournament.

I stopped playing it about three years ago. It was too adictive. You have to play four times per day, if you want to have half a chance.

I did win geography once. First in the world in 16 seconds.

Was pleased, but that's when I gave up.

I never look at it now, in case it draws me back.

Like quiz smack.

It's possible.

You do get used to how the questions are writen.

alan7554, who won the other day in a great time, once started a thread saying it was impossible to do it very quickly.

Somedays it pays to go slower, and reread, in the hope of getting any clues.

I would have been quicker, but am forced to play with my non-dominant hand.

I think speed is the key and being consistently fast. The way the points are allocated, just a few seconds between 1st place and 4th or 5th can mean a big difference.

So, for us "plodders" it's an uphill task:rolleyes::D

In the meantime I'm satisfied to have won one day's quiz this month - but then they do say "Little things please little minds":rolleyes:

(Good luck all for today's - just looked but they are doing maintenance, the subject was Literature which sounds promising....just as long as there aren't too many American authors!)

Well at least it wasn't just me....not that that's much consolation - I got 2 wrong after changing the answer, which is why it took me so long too! Must stop doing that.

Well done Sue in any case -I think my mum should do OK today too.:)
