Staying with friends, who although they get English television, stupidly don't watch it.
Caught up this week. Dickens for the age of technology. Laughed, and cried, in the same episode. Brilliant. I have no fear of death, though I am frightened of not knowing what's happening in Corrie, after I've popped upstairs to 'play mi tapes'. :D |

I wonder if they'll do a Corrie Christmas Carol for one of these folks like Ken Barlow as he's the oldest character in it. Your are over looking ducks and geese I've wondered if that means you live over looking a park?:) |

The characters are brilliantly developed with humour and romance in abundance. And while modern soap opera standards dictate that the odd completely incredible storyline must be thrown in for good measure (and for a few cast kill-offs), Coronation Street is one of the few programmes of its kind that can celebrate the ordinary and in doing so both entertain and command intrigue. The past week's programmes have been top notch. Loved it all. |
