Before he popped his clogs Ashley recorded the classic hit 'I Wish I Could Fly', to raise money for the Weatherfield Turkey Gobblers Association.

Friday's episode contained one line that shoud go down as an all time classic. If you think about it, it summed up everything about Coronation Street and what it means to us. The humour, the drama and the longevity. It came from Rita.

"What is it with me and trams!"
