LOL .. think you would be given very long odds on that one.

So, have we got so far:

Charlotte. still haven't pulled the life support plug though, but not looking good ..:D
Ashley.
Molly.

Think I read Peter was due for the chop .. maybe he won't make it after all.

Perhaps Rita will develop pneumonia after her forced incarceration under the rubble.

Maybe Fizzy's baby may not make it.

What's going on with Little Jack ? Missed that he may be injured. Suppose re. the blood transfusion, that is maybe when Tyrone is enlightened to the Fatherhood !!

Don't think the driver of the tram made it. ?

Oh Hek !! Going dizzy speculating .... :D:D

The tie line was 4 Funerals and a Wedding........We know Ashley, Molly and Charlotte have died, and Peter and Leanne got married. So who is the fourth death?

Let's consider the options..

1. Apparently the tie line was being used before Jack Duckworth died. Could he be the fourth? Unlikely. In soap terms, that was part of another storyline.

2. Quinny, Gary's mate, has yet to have a funeral, which Gary will have to go to. Possible. Gary's Helmond memories were part of this weeks story.

3. The firemen talked about a motorist who had been killed in the tram derailment. Could it be him? I can't think they'd include an unidentified character in the list.

4. Peter and Fizz's baby are still on the critical list. One of them perhaps?

5. Rita was last seen being carried into an ambulance on a stretcher. She seemed in good spirits, though.

6. Kevin perhaps? Sally would probably be let off if she murdered him, on the grounds of justifiable homicide, but we've already had her confrontation with him. Tyrone might do him in though. He's already said he'll kill the bloke who turns out to be baby Jack's dad......

7. ...and the final alternative is the death of someone as yet unidentified. A dodgy pie in Roy's caff for maybe.....the possibilities are endless.

Any other suggestions?

Looks like we posted simultaneously there kaytex!

I'd forgotten baby Jack was still on the danger list. And forgive me if I'm wrong, but didn't we get told that the tram driver had survived?

May have done, Gynn, the actor who played the fireman mumbled his words and didn't quite pick up what he said ... :D

Loved your speculations ... anything is possible with the storylines at the moment.

Seems is a fight at a graveside next week .. so perhaps someone falls in and breaks their neck... LOL

"What is it with me and trams!"

But did anyone actually tell her it was a tram crash? :dflam:

I don't quite get Sally's righteous indignation at the fact that Kevin played away.......didn't she have a pash with some wealthy Car dealer in the past....and didn't Kevin once leave her and shack up with some bird who had a baby(or did I dream that).

The other factor is that Molly isn't around as a temptress anymore....though I have to admit that the story line of their affair was a bit far fetched(for an old cynic like me).

Yes, yes I know it isn't real!

One of the great things about Soaps is everyone's complete amnesia regarding past events when it suits the current storyline. Characters can do the most dastardly things to each other, and rather than carrying a grudge about it foerever (as you and I would), weeks later it is completely forgotten.

A hilarious example was on Eastenders a few months ago, when Max and his wife Tanya were sharing an intimate moment. A few weeks previously, she'd left him for dead, buried alive in the woods......

I think its called dramatic licence.

A bit like Accyweb .. on one debate we are sending 'hatchet through the head' smilies... next debate 'throwing kisses' smilies... :D

Oh come on gynn you don't watch deadends too:eek::eek::eek:Corry well okay, but bloody Eastenders, but seeing you seem to be an avid fan is it true that a cast member once smiled in two consecutive episodes:D

No, I'm afraid not. Eastenders doesnt know how to do comedy.

I do have some standards. I don't think I've seen an episode of Emmerdale Farm in the last 20 years.

Re: Coronation Street tram crash

My only interest in any soap program was back in about 1961/2.
I was engaged to a girl but taken another one out to Manchester. We were outside the Long bar on Oxford road when they were filming an episode and we were on the film.
Weeks later I was sat with my girlfriend and her family when it was shown.
They recognised me and that's when the engagement ring hit the wall behind me, I managed to find it and was thrown out by the father.
I don't watch much TV and certainly not fictitious shows.

The TV episode I was in was when a plumbers mate ( I think he was called Gerry) was crying out side the Long bar because his girl had left him, quite fitting really, we were leaning next to him without knowing we were being filmed or even who he was.
