Yellow peas? - sounds more like chick peas.
Did it say 'processed' on the label?

They were processed peas, the same processed peas I get every week from Asda. Yes they had the processed label on.

I missed a TV programme earlier in the year, think it was about some undercover TV crew infiltrating one of our "super markets" apparently the staff were re labelling the food with later Use By dates, did anyone see it? Was it an Asda store?

I saw that programme - there were several supermarkets featured in it - all using some dubious practices -mainly bad hygiene and not maintaining right temperature in fridges

I'm fed up with Asda coz they either never have what I want in stock or what I have got the prices have risen. i don't know were all these so called roll backs are.
Definitely not on the goods i buy.

It should be perfectly OK to eat if you cut the mould off but even so I would take it back because it shouldn't have gone mouldy so quickly.

You have every right to complain. If people don't complain they get away with allsorts.

Yep we used to do that when I worked at Tesco many moons ago. Not sure they will do it now because I don't think they do their own wrapping like we used to do.
