Re: Is a Complaint in order?
When I lived in Blackburn I would make a point of going to the 3 days market once a week to a particular bread stall, mainly because they had first rate muffins. But I noticed something when one of the servers that I knew personally wasn’t working there anymore. I started to get the muffins that weren’t fresh that day. They were still edible but they weren’t fresh.
Regular customers or those known to the ladies serving got fresh muffins. Others got yesterday’s left overs until there were none left. It was the same with bread. The shelves behind had two piles of muffins and two piles of bread, sliced and unsliced. It is the same story with the two bread shops here in Darwen. Once in a while I like to buy a small white unsliced so that I can slice it myself for some decent toast or to accompany a bowl of soup. But I always seemed to get a loaf that was not fresh. Now when I buy a loaf there I point to the stack of bread that I want with the words, “one of those FRESH loaves please.” You won’t believe the looks that I get. |
Re: Is a Complaint in order?
Hi, just want to say , Most item are produced [ for supermarkets ] and not by them. They may also state [ packaged for ] ...Every supermarkets has a large amount of returns , or coming up to sell by dates. Cheese , if it goes mouldy is is just still taking a little longer to mature. You could have cut it off it would be fine.

[quote=jambutty;494993] Don’t you look to see BEFORE you put the item in your trolley/basket? I appreciate that in haste it is possible to grab the wrong item once. But twice is downright careless and three times is simply stupid.
the point is you`re excellence...........they SHOULD`NT be on the shelves in the first place:D |

Re: Is a Complaint in order?
I have just tried several times to get in touch with Iceland to make a complaint and have been informed thar the website has security issues!! My question is how can I voice my issues if there website will not let me? For the sake of knowing that it is logged somewhere I was trying to report a box of wine that is leaking. Hence the fact I won't be able to take the product back tomorrow!!
