I would agree with Cashman,my first daughter born August 60, occasional visits after then.

I base me guess on the fact i saw The Cockleshell Heroes yon when i was early teens, n the Ritz wasn't open much longer after that.

The closure is not recorded in the book A Hyndburn Chronology in 1960-63. It might be found in An Accrington Mixture, but I cannot find my copy.
