Nice replies guys :D .
It's nice to mix humour with football. Too many forget to do that.

Doubtless, the "heavy mob" will be along to rough him up shortly! :D

Oh ignore him, just a numpty trying hard to be clever.

Ok ... the old site, and its even older registered members, has come in for a whole bunch of criticism. For those bitchin' the most, is there anything that you like about it? And if there isn't, then there is another question begging for a response.

There's lots about me, for example, that doesn't sit well with many regular posters. I'm a socialist; I'm opposed to capital punishment; I don't hold with simplistic, right-wing economic theories; I believe that climate change is taking place and has replaced the threat of a nuclear exchange as the world's major problem. I prefer cats and dogs to humans. I don't support Stanley;) Oh, and the Daily Mail is third-rate asswipe:alright: But I still put forward my opinions ... and when I'm not doing that, I'll post about ducks, and penguins and fire extinguishers.:dancedog:

If the truth hurts then so be it!

We were all new once........and I know it is a long time since I joined, but I do not remember getting a tough time of it.
I have been a fairly regular poster and have seen people come and go......they come because something interests them.....maybe they are doing family research and once that is done they find no reason to come back....others come because they enjoy the banter.
No member is bigger than the forum...or more important.
There is no clique, no Mafia......just bona fide members who post to threads that they find interesting.......and that's the truth.

That was a joke by the way, about this guy deleting his post! But I have seen posts by someone I've not seen before and they were slagged down immiediately by long time users such as Garinda  - Sorry I didn't take a note of the time and date but it happened! I assure you! From it I got the impression that newbies are driven away...

These people haven't driven you away.....so it must be to do with the kind of people they(the newbies) are.......you mention three people who you consider to be the three stooges......but accyweb consists of many more than these people(most of whom are moderate in their treatment of all members).
Not everyone has the same experience of the people who you consider to be harsh and aggressive.

Yeah , yeah, yeah, of course it was a joke, Kestrelx, we believe you. Once again I ask, if you're so unhappy with this forum, why stay? It isn't going to change, of that be assured!

Look at the title of this thread! It asks a question and I have stated that the answer is Yes - and I have seen it happen. Case closed.

Case closed because you've decided it's a fact and no one else's opinion counts? Typical pendantic drivel from you. You're forever whinging about various aspects of Accyweb. If you don't like it, why don't you clear off to another forum or do you take some peverse pleasure from continually moaning?

As for YOU not whinging about Accyweb members and its karma system, let's look at a recent quote of yours...

Yes the usual characters are out with the insults as usual, all be it in the own cleaver little way scoring that extra Karma from there Karma buddies or fellow members of the Click.

Wonder why we dont see many new members posting anymore

Hmmm...seems pretty critical to me.

Incidentally, as you seem to be an expert on the subject of "wingers" could you suggest a few names that I could pass them on to our manager for next season? ;)

No word twisting I read it as I quoted, on re reading I can see it as you meant it to be. But agree - No matter.

My quote wasn't winging if had my fun on here and that why I return I was just stating what I saw (IMO) on the particular thread, and love how one little word "*****":D is guaranteed to get reactions. ;)

Well, your quote seems like "winging" to me, but maybe that's because I read it "as quoted", not as you "meant it to be". No matter - as long as you're having your fun.

Incidentally, is "wing" going to be one of those words like "click" that you deliberately misspell, then tell us that's how you meant to spell it all along? ;)
