Con. candidate?
On Monday night a member of James Mawdsley's Conservative team called at my house. l thanked them but explained l wouldn't be voting Tory, and they left me with their leaflet.
This is a direct quote from the back page, l'm sorry l can't scan it but l'm sure others have the same pamphlet. 'Pensioners .... l am fighting against sinister demands for euthanasia, aware that what has begun as "voluntary" in other countries has next become compulsary.' This seemed rather strange and alarmist, as l know of no country in the world were euthanasia is compulsary, do you? I emailed Mr Mawdsley 22 hours ago asking for more details, l have not had a reply yet, if he does l will post it. |
Re: Con. candidate?
i am not aware of compulsary euthanasia in any country but perhaps someones thinking of bringing it in in this country for conservitives.

Re: Con. candidate?
That is a very sinister way of praying on people's potential fears.

Re: Con. candidate?
Willow that's what l thought.
Still no reply from Mr Mawdsley as yet, which is again a bit slow as the email l sent wasn't cheeky and l wished him well. Perhaps because my email address is garinda, he's been in here and thought it was a set up job? |
Re: Con. candidate?
Compulsory euthanasia does not exist in any country, however, terms and actions like genocide, ethnic cleansing, and mass murder do and that’s what any form of compulsory euthanasia would amount to? I think that you have a candidate here who is ill advised and alarmist. Scaring the sh*t out of the grey voter, the sick and infirm is abuse and should be dealt with as such.

Mr Mawdsley must be an absolute SICKO. It is that sought of garbage aimed, at us geriatrics, thinking we will turn away from our roots, but it just makes us more determined.
I'll be looking forward to the reply, Garinda. |
Re: Con. candidate?
I suspect that 15 months locked up in in a Burmese nick might well have messed up his mind. I'm amazed that the Hyndburn Tory party did not pick up on this nonsense when they went ahead with publication of his electoral address; and even more surprising is that they adopted this knucklehead to be their candidate in the first place.
By my reckoning, there are now two ex-jailbirds in the line-up to be the next Hyndburn MP. I wonder what Graham Jones has to say about it? Will we ever know? |
Re: Con. candidate?
Still no reply to my email.
I sent it to his email address which said it would give more information, which was [email protected] It doesn't show a great deal of efficency in my book. By the way in the same pamphlet it quotes Lord [David] Alton saying, "James is one of the most outstanding young people Britain has produced since World War ll" Yeah right, ok!!!!!! |
Re: Con. candidate?
He is probably to busy writing the sequel to his autobigraphy to bother about replying.

Re: Con. candidate?
conservatives do seem to takin a great tactical ploy that the bnp often use
the go the whole way and scare the **** outta them publicity... |
Re: Con. candidate?
You missed your chance to ask "James" today,he was targetting the poor folks of Accy with leaflets and even more scary....Anne Widdecombe! Showing her common touch she went into Gregg's,not sure which was her pasty of choice though. One of a vast pack of young Conservatives thrust a leaflet at me when I was checking my window display, there were a lot of them and it made me wonder aloud what the collective noun is for a lot of Conservatives,I cannot repeat the answers that my staff gave!;)
