Fast Broadband, Up to 8M. Only drawback if it is one is that you need to move your calls from BT to their package as well to get the 'deal'

a lot of adsl modems cant handle the 8mb connection

buy the lnksys wireless-g adsl modem

if you buy at commet in blackburn yiu get a free wireles card for your pc as well although you can just use a network cable if you want

We're supposed to be getting a router as part of our deal.

Although we are changeing over to Bulldog for phone calls too I don't think you have to. There seem to be different variations on the theme. We were told it doesn't mean changeing our phone number. It will mean losing our aol email addresses and just when I've had a load of business cards printed with mine on! I should have used a different one for that.

We've had notification that it's all systems go so just waiting now until some gubbins arrives.

Willow, For anyone doing 'business' through an email address I would recommend getting your own domain with email forwarding. That way should you ever switch supplier again you just up-date the route to address and no one knows you have changed.

It costs from about £1/month for this service.

When I ever get round to doing a decent website I might just do that.

Speed I'm going - mainly because I have fifty million other thngs to do - that could be sometime next century! :D
