When i was little, about 5-9 i would visit my mate up the road. Her dad seemed to be always drunk and would sort of kneel face down in his armchair! We had to get past him to get to the stairs and it was like getting past a bear. He would grab your leg as quick as lightening and then you were stuffed cos he wouldnt let go until his wife got up and starting yelling and kicking at him to let go! It was quite traumatic. And on the nights that i slept over we would hear him puking his guts up over the partition wall! Yuk

Re: Friendly Pinches
We were not a "kissy" family. My aunt and uncle in Whitley Bay, however, were. I used to dread the obligatory kiss whenever I went there or they came to visit us. It seemed so contrived and it embarrassed me.
I have never been able to stand having the area just above my knees touched. It produces not just a reflex action but a whole body spasm and I am likely to react with violence, arms flailing and feet kicking. For some reason this seemed to be part of greetings, particularly by older male visitors, when I was a child. They never did it twice. :D |
Re: Friendly Pinches
Had an uncle who thought it was fun to put the palm of his hand on my head....then bring the fist from his other hand down on top of it......

Re: Friendly Pinches
I had two uncles, who used to sqeeze arms & legs as hard as they could, used to bring tears to my eyes, they thought it was funny, said it would help make a man of me. But I loved them all the same, just tried to keep out of their way.
