i'll keep an eye out but chances are as said above the car's probably in some garage for a few and wont come out till the damage's been repaired

Im so glad your all ok Gayle . But out of curosity did the police not say wether the speed camera was active and if so did it not detect this ..

They didn't mention it - my guess is that it isn't active because of the very dismissive attitude the policeman had when Chris pointed out that it all happened right under the camera.

Thanks everyone for you concerns. If anyone does see a burnt out car in a field make a note of it, it could well be the one.

Glad you are all ok and well Gayle. I take it the Speed camera was without the important bit? Was there no local CCTV in the area or that in the direction of travel of the White Car?.
