Racial tension or just kids?
 

Over the last few days,I have been hearing tales of gangs of Asian and white youths fighting in Accrington,most of the trouble seems to be centred round the 'Amusement Arcade 'on Blackburn Road.
Is this kids just being kids or something more serious?

Apparently Chav,some are from Moorhead;but more concerning is that older relatives (mid twenties )are now involved.

it dont worry me willow,i take the view that while they are knocking lumps out of each other,they are leaving the pensioners/general public alone.

I see your point but kids knocking lumps out of each other with older relatives joining in worries me about how much it's going to spread.

I've seen adults fall out and come to blows over kids arguments. :(

We had a gang style fight going on in the road at the roundabout here a while back with knives and oodles of police. I found that very scary.

Like you say Cashman could be just two sets of kids with obvious differences... but race is probably a factor and when that is involed things can get very nasty indeed.

One crowd of youngsters gather accross trom the Yorkshire bank, and the other crowd on the Town hall side around 6.30/7.00 every evening during the week. Quite a large number of them to, they all look about 13 to15 years of age although there are some younger ones, I haven't seen any violence yet just name calling and 'sabre' rattling, I wouldn't like to say whether it's racial as they are quite even in numbers as yet.

Yeah I was sat in the Calder on Monday evening!! and noticed a large gang of youth's congregating on the corner. I didn't see them cause any bother though.

fact is they are not supposed to be there period so why arnt the ploice shifting them :rolleyes:

That would mean the police would have to work... we can't have that can we: tut tut:( they have the cams there dont they)
