Re: More Councillors on site

Yes, would be lovely to see more Councillors on here, if only to clear up any misunderstandings we may have for decisions taken. Although, presume, they may not feel obliged to do this.

You lot going on about political parties, but council business not supposed to be too political, is it ? Only got two Labour councillors ever making comments at the mo (only one up to this week) .. so not yet fair to get at Conservative councillors for not being here.

Didn't see John Broadley (Labour) on here explaining his decision for voting to re-instate the driver on the Taxi thread, did we? Just Clare Pritchard who knew she was onto a winner by joining in, as we all supported her vote against.

Sure you would have stayed with us Gayle if you had been fortunate enough to knock Britcliffe off his throne. Problem is, you would have had to be a little more guarded in your posts than you are already .. no more talk of borrowing Chris's vibrating tape measure ... :D

Eeeew, like the sound of a 'smidgin doolally' guess I am :D

Don't think they would get the chance to have the run of the place here yerself, too many strong opinionated members, who can be extremly open-minded/outspoken, to let any Councillor take over the running of the place.

Yeh, suppose is a lot of bullsh1t on here at times, but mixes well with the sheep droppings ... :D

back to the thread, maybe when the guilty conservatives, plus 1 labour councillor will join accyweb to fill their days in when they RESIGN. (perhaps not:D )

It's the AccyWeb gremlins again. :D But back to the plot - it's good to have councillors on site who are willing to post and answer people's queries and worries.

If your allowed to vote at 18 can't see why you could not stand for election at 18... and anyway young Mr Pitt was only 5yrs old when he became Prime Minister :)

Ignore the above its changed!!! I made a mistake and the edit button had run out!

This is the one you need
http://www.electoralcommission.org.u...ment.cfm/17910

Its 18 when you can stand. That one gives you all the regs for standing as a councillor. You will have to download it dont take long though.
