That would be a waste of resourses, the solution in simple terms is shut the borders and politely tell the ones who have invaded us since the new EU regulations allowed them into our country to kindly return to where they came from, if they refuse then that's a different matter.;)

Quite a radical solution, Bagpuss, considering that free movement of people is enshrined in EU principles and we, whether we like it or not, are members of the EU.

Well, how about this for a different sort of radical solution? Instead of demonising law-abiding Poles and Lithuanians who have come here to try to better their lot, how about starting on a sizeable minority of the British population - the thugs, the yobs, the violent criminals, the child-abusers, and, before you say it, the muslim fundamentalists, in fact the whole rich substrata of scum who are currently making this country an unpleasant place to live in. How about stripping them of their British citizenship permanently and coming to some arrangement with a suitably despotic farway country to take them off our hands and use them as slave labour? We could start with the three specimens who attacked an ambulance and possibly caused an elderly's man's death.

A radical solution? Yes Unworkable? Maybe. But. as far as I'm concerned it's infinitely more just than your radical solution. Because, in my experience, the vast majority of foreigners I come into contact with in this country are quite reasonable people. The ones who cause me problems, the ones who throw stones at my wife's car because she's a "******* foreigner", the ones who swear at old ladies on the buses I travel on, the ones who have caused town centres to become violent no-go areas on Friday and Saturday nights are, in the main, British-born scum. And, quite frankly, I would rather see them deported and the "vacancies" on this fair isle filled by law-abiding, hard-working foreigners. But I suppose that's just being unpatriotic, isn't it?

I agree.... A brilliant idea. The problem would be where to send them???

Australia will no longer take our scumbags and would be a crap place to go on holiday if it did..:D

No, you're right, we sent enough of our miscreants to Australia the last time our government had this policy.

But how about some third world regime? We could even pay them to keep the new arrivals in secure prison camps. It'd help their economy and it'd certainly be cheaper than keeping the sods in British prisons, with all their attendant facilities like TVs, computers etc!
