I do get the distinct impression he's avoiding this thread! I guess I'll have to wait until 2nd May.

No there wasn't. That is not true. THe Council is NOT ALLOWED to not balance the books. It's illegal and as a former Councillor (I think?) and political know it all, I'd expect you knew that but are concealing it.

In the Tories first quarter there was a 450k overspend. (ie a potential £1.8m deficit). Labour's year end books were straight. Fact.

Three weeks on and he's still not managed to give me an answer. I now understand why people use the term 'typical politician'.

It is however nice to know that the Shadow Leader of the Council only cares about his own ward, saving his own skin, and is not concerned with the questions of the rest of the borough.

If Graham Jones gets in could the last person to leave please turn the light out?

Glade to see your not always right Graham, I've never been a councillor, that was my former wife Sandra. As for the deficit or whatever you want to call it there was £1.8 million black hole, which the Tories have now sorted and the finances are now on sound footings again (say the audit commision not me)and going from strength to strength and even you should applaud that, but you won't:rolleyes:
