And since when have I been one to avoid offending people?

If they're proud enough to do that in the local newspaper, I doubt they're going to care about one persons opinion, and if they do, I'm flattered. I didn't realise I was such an important part of their lives.

Far be it for me to offer advice but feel that offending people just for the sake of it will only serve to allienate them from you. But as you say you don't care if you offend folk so just carry on your own merry way.

It wasn't even said with that intention, you just took it that way.

I said 'the same type of person', I haven't said what that was. Yes I did say the word tacky in that post, but the idea is a tacky one regardless of who is in the pictures.

Most people don't care if they offend people, but most just make some effort to cover it up and act two faced. I prefer the honest approach to people.

Really can't be bothered with trying to justify my reply, would be interesting to see if others viewed your comments as not offensive to the "certain type" who enter this sort of thing. Wonder if it would be tacky if it was your sort of thing, doubt it very much.

Most people just give a thought to other peoples feelings but as I say if your way is right just carry on in being honest. I can honestly say that in quite a lot of your posts on here your honesty has hurt peoples feelings but as long as you fell okay what does that matter??

To be honest, I would never dream of appearing in something like this, and dont actually agree with it appearing in the Observer.

However I have nothing but admiration for the girls that have got the 'balls' (so to speak) to do this. Then again I have mates that strip for a living, doesnt make them any less of a mate for how they earn their money. In fact I find it amusing seeing a friend of mine on tv flashing her bits, and then seeing her in her jeans mopping up baby puke!

Blazey you have a talent second to none (well almost, Mancies getting close lol) for upsetting folk. Even if ya suddenly turned angelic, the damage has been done. The problem is even the most valid of points is lost due to the way you put forward your argument or the way you have put it in the past.

I agree whole heartedly only one type of girl would pose in such a way as to be provocative, though even worse are the ones that put themselve out on the world wide web so that anyone can see them, Hussies!

This was to show what I had in store for my boyfriend for valentines day, in the over 18's section, not a family aimed local newspaper nor was I competing with anyone for some sort of status.

Good try though :)

Also I voted that I have no problem with the contest, but it isn't appropriate for the Observer.
