Re: Stolen Wheelie bin - replacement not available!

Some clueless bint across the back from me stole mine last week, even though it had my house number and street painted all over it; the numpty then left it in full view in her yard shielded only by a fence that is more hole than fence. I saw my bin and went a-knocking at her door, told her in no uncertain terms that I had come to repatriate my bin and then asked her if she wanted to open the gate or I would make my own way through it.
After a couple of attempts at the "I don't speak English and someone stole mine so I took this one " routine I got bored and set off for the fence; she soon opened the gate and me and the bin went home !
I will do the same next time too !
Bin larceny !
It's wrong and evil !

reading this thread got me curious to know how many Accy-webbers use a shreader for their paperwork , (old bills, bank statements, personal mail etc.) I would never put anything out for collection with personal details on it , also if you do shread stuff where does it go ? in your paper sack or box , is it in a plastic bag ?

I shred everything that has my name on it.
I put it in my white sack along with unaddressed paper junk

I shred all our personal stuff, bills , any letters with personal details. I stick it in the compost bin, it composts down really well too. :)

Don't throw away entire bills, receipts, credit-or debit-card slips, bank statements or even unwanted post in your name. Destroy unwanted documents, preferably by using a shredder.

Perhaps us oldies are the only ones with savings :p
