Why should anyone object. Employers have a right to set the criteria for a job. No doubt those employers who do drugs test already will inform you of that so the answer is easy, don't apply.

Me personally.............Lock them up and throw the key away.
I have lived almost 69 years and never been tempted once.

Dave...for once you and I agree.
Would it not be a way of identifying and sorting the wheat from the chaff?

Illicit substances should certainly not be discounted.

I'm thinking more along the line of anti-depressants.

Because if they are to show up, and I don't think it is an employers business in that case, I would not be particularly happy (no jokes please!)

I could play on your choice of words there to say what I REALLY think but I best not, because I get in enough trouble :p

As a rule people tend to search for threads on the topic they wish to post about. Think it is something to do with cost as bandwidth has to be paid for.

Perhaps it would be wise to regularly clear old topics of little importance off the forum then rather than causing an inconvenience to the users who don't know all these different rules.

After all, old issues change with time, they don't always stay the same.
