Re: Benidorm claps down on unruly Brits

I've never holidayed in any of the Spanish seaside resorts because of the reputation of the Brits, that reputation has been going on since I was young which is a long time ago, so it's nothing new. I went to Barcelona for a couple of days the year before last but it's the only time I've been to Spain.

We went for the first time last year & never ventured away from the old town.Full of nice restaurants, bars & shops, beaches were great & not too overcrowded. We'd heard what the new town was like & thought we might as well have gone to Blackpool if we wanted to drink Carling, watch Sky sports & eat english grub all week.We may step into the new town if we go again but i think people our age look for something a bit less hedonistic while abroad.
