As I said earlier it was you who decided to announce of your relationship to andrewb. I think it is irrelevant, and that you had no need to share that information. Family disclosure certainly isn't one of the forum rules.

Somethings you agree on, and somethings you don't, so your relationship matters not one jot.

We have lots of members on Accy Web who are in someway related to others. The fact that they don't need to publicly announce who, and to how, they are related to each other certainly doesn't lessen the validity of their posts.

Once you've been here a bit, and posted in more than just one thread, you'll realise that humour is quite evident on this site, and your disclosure about being Tory boy's mummy, will probably crop up again from time to time.;)

Even for a politician you're awfully good at avoiding owning up for posting incorrect information.

I'm not so sure.

Can we really trust someone to spot a Christmas card, when they hadn't seen the name of their ward, printed in big black letters, on their polling card?

The jury's out on that one.

Personally I read everything.

Knowledge is power.

;)

If you personally choose not to trust me absoulutely fine no problem with that issue.I am not on here to be judged by anyone. yes knowledge is power but equally too much knowledge is dangerous.

If ya choose to come on here ya get judged, ya have to live with it.

Too much knowledge is dangerous in the wrong hands, certainly

You would be advised to stick to issues. Joan simply made a factual point. Whilst you're here and you have dished out a critique of local Labour.

I asked what is the most positive thing the Conservatives have done locally (given they have been pulling the purse strings and trusted with making the decisions for the last decade)?

I published Labour's big achievements which I take it you think are good because you have chosen not to criticise.

As Kim puts in her SMS to me... waiting.......!! It's been 2 days and nothing, not even the great Jaysay has answered for you. Spouting is easy, doing, that's different.

Well Mr Positive himself has started this thread. While you ask though, low council tax, half the increases of the rest of the country. This gives every household more money in their pockets to spend. I think this is really important to people. The council is sound financially, even rated an excellent council by the independent audit commission. A massive achievement considering what it was when they inherited it.

I do wonder what you do in council if you can't think of any achievements yourself. Probably too busy trying to trip the Conservatives up.

Andrew do you have 100percent proof that it was Labour who created the 'black hole' in HBC finances in the -
1year out of the last 10 (May 2002 to May 2003)that they were in control of HBC. Or is it just hearsay?

No, if you really want it I can have a look next time I'm home. Do you agree with me that Hyndburn council tax is not the most expensive in the country?

It seemed quite clear to me, because you'd referred to the amusing nature of the whole thread, that you would no longer be posting in it.

So yes I was very suprised to see you go back on your word.

Perhaps it's some sort of Conservative trait, because Jaysay did exactly the same thing only the other week.

I guess I'll just count myself fortunate, in that I have the strength of my convictions, and only do what I say I'll do.
