And failing miserably:rolleyes: its no good trying to wash your hands of your fellow party members in Westminster, you helped to put them their and rejoiced in doing so, but now they are as popular as a fart in a space suite you don't want to know. At a recent by-elect you were even to ashamed to put Labour on your election literature and I never saw a red rosette on any Labour canvassers during that campaign. I'm not trying to wash my hands of the labour Party nationally, quite the contrary. I'm Labour and proud of it.

I just happen to think that on a forum such as Accy Web people also want their Councillors to talk about things that are relevant to Hyndburn,

Just on the next election, I wouldn't start counting any chickens just yet. I've been around in politics along time time, and I've seen quite a few politicians with egg on their face when it comes to predicting the outcome of elections. Including myself from time to time.
