I know.

Just as I know the 'celebrity' chef isn't really called Silly Dildo.

I was going to put 'the little chap who was inside Metal Micky'.

Might have been a bit more obvious that I was being facetious.

:D

Well the Accrington Observer is moving back to Accrington!:D

We're back in town: Observer opens new office at Accrington Market Hall | Accrington Observer - menmedia.co.uk

Of course in the newly refurbished Market Hall!

Have they ever applied for change of use for the market hall from retail to business ? surely there is a percentage of use which defines the use of a building

It may well be if it wasn't seemingly written all about one person.

I'm genuinely pleased that it's moving back to Accrington. From what I can gather from people who have read it for years it has unsurprisingly gone somewhat downhill since the move to Manchester and it makes sense to have a local paper actually in the community it is reporting on.

However, they really do need to exercise a bit more political balance in my opinion.

Yes I agree with what your saying, balance is essential, not enough input from P.B. in the old Obbo' and wouldn't it be nice if now and again we could have a picture of our glorious leader unveiling a plaque, accepting a medal or even closing the odd toilet?

Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre was re-opened again last Thursday by the Leader of the Council.

It's possible that there will be a story on it in this week's Observer....

I wonder if Gayle will be in it as well?

Knowing what he's like though it will be 99% him, 0.5% Gayle, (the tip of her elbow after he's rugby tackled her out of the way), and 0.5% of The Theatre.

Yes, we are in for a treat, aren't we?
:)

Can't see that myself. Observer moves in to Market Hall, no way would a council leader have an undeclared personal interest in such a move. It would be immoral and dishonest

You all invite anger upon this forum with your unfounded allegations, I cannot be party to this.

Having said that, I was told in full council that I don't know when to keep my mouth shut so what sort of hypocritical councillor would I be if I tried to silence the people?

Probably a Tory one Ken. Not only do they want to silence the people, but they won't tell us anything themselves. It all seems to be hush hush with them.
