Thanks Nev ... our household waste hasn't been collected in Clayton again today ... so at least we know it's a trip to the tip then.

Great Harwood isn't too bad .... wouldn't risk Whinney Hill though, where I suspect most of the refuse wagons go ?

Thanks for letting us know, I have the same question as Cashy. Will they take black bags too or will we get fined for fly tipping?

Thanks for letting us know, I hope you won't get into trouble with the powers that be, such information I would have thought would be passed from department to department on a 'need to know basis', You might just get summoned to head office after this enforced holiday.
:D

here in Blackburn we have been given purple bin bags to put our rubbish in, we have to put them at the side of our normal bins when they eventually come round to collect them, why can't they do that in Hyndburn?

Because Purple is a colour reserved only for the King of a state.

Competition time.
karma to the first person to post a piccy of our King in his brand new clothes.

(Less walks away singing 'the King is in the altogether, the all together, the all together, as naked as the day that he was born).

I did put up on another thread Sue that they were prepared to collect 2 extra bags of household waste on the first collection in the New Year .. mind you, this was before 'the troubles'.

Here it is again :-

However ... there is this announcement by Our Leader:

Severe weather conditions affect refuse / recycling collections

Thats very kind of them collect an extra 4 bags as a one off. It annoys me when i think off the cost of the tax people pay.
