Im sure he as seen lots of nasty posts on here, less seems to excell in posting them .very sad!!!! maybe thats why the forum might not be adding numbers as quick these days???.

I think there are many reasons why the meets are not attended as well as they were before.
Firstly there is a recession on and there is just not the money to go out and socialise as much.
When the meets first started(and I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong here) they were held, in the main, at a hostelry in church...the landlord was a member, and it was almost a home from home situation....then the hostelry closed down and the meets were in various pubs/clubs.
This invariably meant that some folk would not be able to get to them and have their usual good night because of the additional cost of transport(taxi.etc).

There are folk on here who work unsociable hours so that lets them out too.......and then there are those who for whatever reason have just drifted away from the forum(sometimes real life and circumstances get in the way).

I think thats the main reason. Quite a few of the people who used to attend them as a regular event don't come on the forum often or at all now.
