To me its no surprise that we have far more unruly behavior now that when I was in my youth, in those days, if you did wrong at school you paid the price, be it the cane slipper ruler across the knuckles blackboard dust round your ears. Today kids can do just what they want in class have little or no respect for authority of any kind, because some bleeding heart liberal told them they have rights, in my day you had to earn that right, never did me much harm nor I would think a lot more people from my generation

we used to get cracked on the back of the head with a metre ruler, i dont think she was actually allowed to it, it was about 20 years ago.

I never got hit at school as I am only a young un!! :D :D (John dont you say anything!!)
I dont disagree with it though, kids in class now get away with loads as they know they can wind the teacher up so much verbally and then get sent out of class with no real punishment. |

Disgusting I calls it. Soddin' immigrants coming over here with their alien ideas like disciplining children and keeping order in the classroom. It's about time he fell into line with British culture - we let our kids do what they want!
