Probably that hitting kids with a 2 foot pipe is a bit over the top. Or do you think its acceptable?

"...he had a piece of plastic overflow pipe in his hand which he used as a “teaching aid”" - quote of the day by far.

Leaving a mark must mean quite a heavy blow.

If I were the mother of the child hit on the lower back, I'd be watching his urine very carefully for signs of blood which could mean kidney damage.

I didn't start the thread Neil. Bee must have some opinion.....unless whoais an opinion.

I didn't say I was in favour of hitting pupils, and didn't make any comment which would make you think that this behaviour was acceptable either.

I was just asking Bee to clarify his point, to post his feelings, ideas, opinions on the link he has started a thread with. Maybe he thinks it is acceptable.....will we ever know?

A bit like the olden days, when I was at school.

When if you got caught messing about in lessons, you got whacked with a two foot cane.

I always felt really sorry for the boys at school who were caned.

Mainly for being dumb, and getting caught.
