Top half of the Clayton End's standing, bottom half's seating. No trouble with alkies sitting, as we all stand! ;)

In all seriousness, you'd be welcome if you fancy catching the occasional match from time to time. :)

Might.

See my old spot.

To the right, just behind the goal.

From where I attempted to stop Harwood Red from pitch invading, every time we scored.

:D

Say what!?

Those benches can never be returned?

Not those, perfectly good, original ones?

One was definitely broken beyond repair, whilst being removed for this 'experiment'?

No longer stored on H.B.C. property?

All benches from in front of Market Hall, last seen on the back of gypsy's wagon, after he was told to take them away, and off they went?

Never to be seen again?

Well who the Freaky Freddie would Adam 'n' Eve this little nugget of information?

Certainly more interesting than anything those little Labour moles used to come up with.

Perhaps I will take up the offer, to go and see one of the 'joint decision makers'.

They might even go and show me the benches, safe and sound, disproving this latest information. I could take snaps.

Or....perhaps that won't be possible, because every word, very sadly, is true!!!

Might be because they wouldn't have been damaged at all, if they hadn't been removed for this 'experiment', and the last sight of them wouldn't then have been on the back of a gypsy's flatback truck, after they were told to take 'em away.

I suppose all we can hope now is that the gypsies weren't paid to remove them from their storage place!

I find it hard to believe that HBC would use non licensed waste carriers to take away waste for them. Someone must be pulling your chain.

I have it on very good authority that this is exactly what's happened, sadly.

I'd love it to be proved otherwise.

This information was only brought to my attention in the last twenty four hours, from a very reliable source, and has nothing to do with my own, selfish, opposition to them being removed.

That being, I used 'em, like many other non-alkies, and appreciated being able to sit on them.

They may well have been licensed, for all I know.

I wasn't told if they were, or they weren't, in all fairness.
