Thing is, some bozo on council would probably call in some Accy version of CSI and, at a cost to the taxpayer of, say, 2,500 pounds, prove it was the dog, and collect the 1,000.:D

Looks like crap's more important in Hyndburn, than returning the benches.

There's a crap artist in Sweden, who makes furniture out of excrement.

Perhaps H.B.C. are planning to give her a residency in the Market Hall, as part of some community art project.

Some might be sitting pretty, now they're in power, but I won't be parking my arse on any old crap.

I'll just have to wait for this 'experiment' to end, and sit on the benches again...when they're brought back.

PCSO's collecting fines for dog fouling, the money would then go to the courts and not HBC

I know it isn't in the rules but I thought these days on AccyWeb, when we work in percentages the maximum estimation is 95%?

(Thank you Graham, it may only be a small thing but, it is about the only thing you've changed since being elected).

I know if the fine is paid HBC get the money, if it goes to court then HBC dont get the money. Not sure who does when the court issues the fine, them I suppose, whoever them are.

I love a bench in a town centre, seeing weary shoppers taking a moments break, Why does everyone have to suffer because the council can't come up with a solution to the yobs, there should be something in place to help these unfortunate's perhaps one of the empty shops could be used as a mentoring unit for anyone causing a nuisance, and the general public could help observe the council's, social workers and police people skills and see how much their hands are tied dealing with society's misfits

Your post started well, unfortunately, you went all Christmassy towards the end thinking that good will to all men includes these degenerates, plenty is already in place for them, what they now need is for existing laws to be applied until they are no longer a nuisance.
