Don't know if anybody saw the article on Granada Reports ( at least one of the remaining shops in Accrington got on :) )

Basically Labour blamed the previous Tory council, and Tories blamed the previous Labour council.

Presumably this means it was the Liberal Party's fault :rolleyes:

No, lancsdave, it wasn't the Liberals fault either. In fact it wasn't any politicians fault, it never is. Some nameless council employee?
But rest assured, the politicians will say they will learn from someone else's mistakes and see it doesn't happen again.

I find it quite amusing that the press are making such a big story out of it. Of course they are playing on the dramatisation of the 100k spend not the 200k saving.

Lets hope they spend the 200k buying a giant cleaning machine that sweeps low life scum off the streets :D

My guess would be its the why the person who made them aware of the story in the first place.

i believe the contractors pulled up outside the town hall first enquiring where the sh1tehouse that needed removing was and were given directions to the labour office :idunno:
