Dr Who To Get His Tardis Back

The Peel St tardis is to go according to the Observer.

Peter Britcliffe says it's bonkers because it's going to cost £100,00 to terminate the contract. He says it's a mad situation the council has got itself in to.

According to Hyndburn Council the contract extension was approved in May 2002. Who signed the contract?

No idea who it was, but the contract was renewed in May 2002. I checked the Hyndburn website to see who was in control at the time and Labour won control in May 2002.

If the contract was renewed in May 2002, presumably it was agreed prior to that

The figures don't stack up either.

Annual rental is £29,300.

100,000 costs include £30,000 termination fee, £8,000 removal fee and 10 years worth of penalty charges.

10 years rent would be £293,000, does that mean the penalty charges are actually just over 20 years rent

Doesn't say how long the contract has left

Pardon my ignorance, but just what are you talking about?

Your ignorance is pardoned :)

It's the superloo on Peel St, same sort as this one

Thank you Dave.

One of those things - what a blot on the landscape. Being very claustrophobic think I would rather pee in the street than trust myself in one of them.:pain30::s_splash:

you can get done for peeing in the street.....there was a case in the Obby last week, of a man being up before the beak for wazzing in full view of the public on Broadway.

Well, you can take the girl out of Accrington, but she still knows how to behave when downtown for a night out!

But you can do it much more discreetly if you're wearing a skirt and squat down over a grid... an expert talking here... Less has got me sussed!

I recall from his previous posts, that Dave's shop has no toilet facilities.
Am I right?
