Think we firmed that up a long time ago cashy, politics is about opinions, and every body has them, its what makes the world go round, I've always said that to hate somebody because of where they put a cross on a ballot paper is stupid. I think you'll agree that on the many occasions we've met can't remember us having a wrong word, far from it, plenty of laughs though:D

That "opinion" thingy .... there's a quote from Harlan Ellison (scifi fans will know who he is) that I like: "You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opionion. No one is entitled to be ignorant". Not talking about you, bud, but there are some on here, and wherever you go in the world, who could do to take note of this. Another one of his that I like: "The two most common elements in the Universe are hydrogen and stupidity.":theband:

By the way, I see that there will be no silences observed at football games ... a great pity that.:rolleyes: There will be no loud jeers and cheers from the stands on Wearside to serenade her as she floats on Charon's boat towards her eternal resting place.:D

A turd?

What's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;
Yeah o.k. a turd, but one that's smell will effect us all throughout history.

You may not have read across there that the twitter thread #nowthatcherisdead was seen by many as announcing the death of Cher!!!

We got that thing about Cher ... but not until there was enough light to see the smoke signals;) Messengers with cleft sticks are fanning out all over this great and primitive land of ours with the news.:D By the time the news reaches Tuktoyaktuk, Cher probably will be dead.:)
