Let each one of us make our own choices - and then shut up about it.
So many of the comments are by people who are too young to have known the Maggie Years and so much of what has been said by others is extremely inaccurate.
It was noticable, that a large percentage of the crowds made more noise than the protesters by clapping as the cortege passed, drowning out the chants of the few.

How strange, in the bomber thread B.G. is going on about free speech and you are telling folk to shut up in this one!

I'll shut up when I choose to not because you tell me to.

In fact I find it rather impolite that you think you have the right to tell anyone to shut up, or is this you displaying your version of 'Free Speech'?

Mind you, will they be treating this similar to the Grande Prix?
Show the funeral live repeat it complete in the afternoon then show the highlights on BBC 4 after seven o'clock tonight?

When we do start watching the box later I suspect it may be difficult to avoid it.
:(

The BBC cheated it over ran by 5 minutes, which proved to me I was better off on BBC2 all morning, as for tonight, I'm not risking it, will have to watch West Ham on Sky:rolleyes:

£10,000,000. Why are people moaning about the cost?
This is a perfect example of a successful Nationalised Industry!
Run by the State, the money going to our soldiers, sailors, airmen, policemen, civil servants.
Not to mention the barrier putteruppers, the barrier pulldowners, the sand spreaders, the sand cleaneruppers etc, etc. Hotels, buses, trains all needed. Tourists being attracted.

With a funeral like this every week we could pull the country out of recession. Stop moaning.

Just trying to think who we should have next week- Blair, Brown?
