:)

Apparently they were, Less. Surprised me a little bit, I thought at least some extra police would have been brought in on extra pay to cover it.

Just goes to show what a careful, parsimonious government the ConDems are!

Apparently they were what?
On overtime?
Sleeping under bridges?
Able to attend the funeral and still do motorists? Could it be some smart copper did the driver of the herse for delaying traffic?

My interests seem to be the least of what is on their minds, but what the hey, I'm just some scrounger playing the system according to them.

I'm coming to Germany if that's what they cost over there.

Perhaps 70 years is a little early to make jokes of the Holocaust?

Therefore I'll refrain, but, if anyone put a great deal of effort into ensuring a cheap funeral...

That used to be the place to go.

O.K. after WW1 maybe they were treated harshly, but how come after WW2 they have the stronger economy? Something (as my Russian DIL says, they caused so much suffering and yet we ended up punishing the Russians), is wrong...

germany did pretty good for a country that started a war and lost.We even paid them to rebuild what we bombed if im remembering history correctly

not my strongest subject by teh way but im pretty sure since ww2 teh germans have done pretty well especially out of teh EU they beasically run europe without even having to start another war.Just think of all the saved bloodshed if hitler had decided to use paperwork instead of bullets.

Hmmm, you seemed so keen to put forward your views on how cheap a funeral was, then introduced the wonder of the condems, I've answered, you've been online all the time since then, somehow you don't wish to continue the conversation, could it be because in your heart you know I'm not a scrounger but you can't bring your brain dead opinions to state the truth?
:D

I bet while they where down there non of them had to sleep under bridges, unlike the so called volunteers for the Olympics.

Wouldn't have thought you were too thick to realise you weren't clear.
Still, we have to bless your condem, with their attitude I may just give in to their idea of being a useless scrounger and top myself, then you won't have me annoying you anymore.

How true, just a shame Gordon couldn't have thought of that, perhaps you aren't the staunch Tory I thought you were?

Unlike Gordon you can see some good in the likes of me.
