As much as I enjoy a good debate, you and I have had a few, Ameros, Currency Collapse, Chemtrails etc, I have my own opinion.
I may not agree with what yours is, but I am entitled to it, just as you are and I will defend the right for you and me to have it.

Margaret, you seem to take a lot of stock off websites that slant world events to your way of thinking, you could say I and others do the same.

Have a good day

So you are prepared to defend this woman's right to to put forward her views?

Would you also defend my right to criticize her view because I find it disgusting?

No-one so far as I can see has said she can't say it, but there are plenty that would prefer that she thought through what it is that she says.

Off topic but the quotes in this thread are confusing me! I just read a post where the quote appeared as if it was quoting me, and I thought 'I didn't say that!'

Is it appearing like this for anybody else? Or have I done something wrong?

It`s easy to make it look like your quoting something someone didn`t say.

I think what is happening, is that one person mis-copied a quote, then another person did similar to the mis-copied quote and this has passed the error down the line.
Always best just before posting, if we use the Preview post button before sending it out to others so that if we've made an obvious oops it can be corrected before such errors get out there.
As it is it's going to take a fair bit of editing by the mods to sort this lot out.

You asked I answered, if you don't feel it's a big deal don't ask then I won't be left feeling that my attempt at helping was wasted on your attitude!

Yes I had noticed, but because the culprit asked why? Rather than name and shame them, I tried to avoid causing embarrassment to the young lady (yes, I know, I must be getting old, there was a time I wouldn't hesitate in causing it),

I wish I'd said it's all your fault thicko can you not do a simple thing like posting?

:D

In a word Less Yes on both counts.
Having the right of freedom of speech is ssomething I firmly believe in, however distasteful the comments made.

Okay Folks,
My original post on this was in answer to Marg R, she said we needed to be told the truth, her version Is different from what the mainstream media's etc.
I fell I should qualify my disagreement with her on this.

Whilst I have no desire to see Abuu Hamza etc in our country calling for mine or anyone's death with such slogans as, kill Infidel or even the mad baptists in America, they are entitled to their opinion. If we remove this right, then we are in danger of becoming just like they are and what they stand for.

So although I am not happy at people shouting ' kill the infidel' in my own country, the simple fact that they can say it here, with no fear of death/Jail/Severe Beatings etc just shows how wrong they are.
We are a better nation for allowing Free Speech, people have died in World Wars to defend that right. Lets not lose it.
