I have just asked them again why using the contact form on their website. It appears they don't monitor their twitter account very often or maybe they were ignoring my question

Again - they are the council and they are able to give themselves or seek permission from the government for permission to park there as it is their land, the general public are excluded from this so we cannot park there. The mayors car will be included in the council permission. Or the traffic wardens, being employed at some point by the councils may be told to leave vehicles parked there alone if they are obviously council vehicles leave them. They will likely ignore all requests for clarification of council vehicle parking in that area. You would need to make a proper data request to get full disclosure as they are legally required to answer those. Grab a traffic warden etc and ask them. |
