With Boris, it is a case of suck it and see.
He has an uphill struggle....mainly because there are so many treacherous snakes in Parliament....all intent on thwarting the will of the people.

I think they are drawing things out for as long as possible to make the voters get fed up.....to get them to change their minds.
I have not changed mine....OUT....OUT.....OUT.

If Boris does not deliver (or he tries to deliver something that means we leave in name only) then the party will be toast.

i hope he makes his cabinet all Leavers.....even then it is going to be tough.

I have little faith in Boris Johnson. He didn’t decide to back Leave until the last seconds.
But, like Margaret suggests, if he fouls up or simply let’s things drag on and on his party will be electoral dust as and when an election is called.
The few Tory members know that. It’s just the majority of their super-annuated MPs that haven’t woken up.

I am beginning to wonder if they are in a medically induced coma.


The likes of Philip Hammond, David Gaulke and Rory Stewart seem to have Kamikaze ideals.....nothing aligned to the democratic vote.


I just hope that Boris Johnson doesn't think he can feed us the same pap we have been fed before.....you know the stuff....'this is a good deal'.....The withdrawal agreement needs settting fire to...it will never be acceptable in any shape or form.


I did read that some of the EU members were cosying up to the new PM...but he needs to know that he will not be able to sneak a psuedo arrangement past the people...too many politicians who do not like him(or trust him) will squeal like stuck pigs.


He has only a relatively short time to make some decisive moves...and we are watching.

I like Boris (shame on me for saying that), but, he is old school politico.

Makes mistakes even talks a load of wiff waff but seems to be the only honest politician in the whole sordid bunch.

It isn't that I don't like him.....I just wonder if he is up to this task....also, I am sure I am not alone in my distrust of what politicians tell me.

Blair, Brown, and Major...so maybe the fact that they don't like him, might be a stunning endorsement.
After all...Blair is a bigger liar than Tom Pepper...Brown sold our gold reserves at knockdown prices(the only good thing he did was keep us out of the Euro)....and Johm Major was the man who signed away our sovereignty at Maastricht...and his was the government in power on Black Wednesday....so they are no advert for sensible, believable politics are they?

I have my fingers crossed for BOJO...hope he can make good on his promises.

To me....blair always seemed like a snake oil salesman.....I NEVER liked him.
He is the man who did irreparable damage to this country.....and still cannot accept that he is not just disliked...but HATED by many traditional Labour supporters.....he was not red..he was mauve...a closet conservative...champagne socialist.
