Just when I get my hopes up that we might actually get out of the EU.....the rug is pulled from under me.
Just when I think we might break free of the web, the spider comes in and wraps another layer of ties on us.....and we are held down by our own countrymen....for shame!

If the remainer MP's tie the hands of the PM, then they are handing our country over to the EU....for them to decide, unilaterally and with whatever constraints they wish to apply.....and we the people who voted to leave will have no say.

In short that means we will NEVER get out.

When I was young and growing up in England we used to mock the French and the Italians for having elections and changing governments every few months.
What has England come to?

To be fair, MoreJoe.....

In 'normal' times(which, these are NOT), the Uk has a fixed term Parliament law.
This means elections only happen every five or so years.
The last election was caused by the irregular events which have plagued politics since the referendum and this coming one too.
All because we have a nest of snakes in our government....who cannot begin to come to any kind of agreement.

I sincerely hope our current PM can be be the mongoose that rids us of these pesky varmints.
It looks like he has plans to deselect them.
Although, that will not stop them setting up as independent MP's....well that is unless their constituents feel as let down by their representative as I do with ours.

said it all along from the outset that this would happen. what does surprise me is that anyone really thought it would happen. years of self interest and brainwashing from those who think they know everything has come to the top once again.

Well, If I am honest, I felt that sosmewhere along the line we would get scuppered, yet I lived in the hope that we might, just might, find a way out.


It proves quite clearly, what I have said all along...that we are only allowed to vote because it makes us FEEL like we have influence...but really if what we voted influenced anything at all they would stop us from doing it.

Just to let you know that our illustrious local representative in the HOC voted to block a No deal(how I hate that term) Brexit last night. I don't suppose he has ever played poker.

No surprise there then...he wants to be a slave to the Eu and wants to amke us slave to them too...come the election...I hope you all remember his mealy mouthed spineless actions.

He would stand no chance, for a start he would have to wear a hiviz jacket, safety boots and a big yellow helmet to be able to work under the house of commons plus he would need to apply for a permit to work with explosives and fill in a health and safety assessment predicting the results of the explosion it would probably take him about 5 years to get through the paperwork.
