It is reported that Boris is off to Balmoral tomorrow to see the Queen.....so he is either going to resign as he cannot currently govern with the state of the party....or maybe he is going to seek the Queens help,in squashing the opposition.

He says he would rather be dead than go to Brussels to ask for an extension.

I was wondering if we are allowed to vote in the request to extend article 50....if that were the case, then could we not veto our own request?
Well, NO....maybe not....it was just a whimsical thought....a grasping at straws.

you know the same people would be gloating and those who wanted out would be quickly told just to get on with it if the vote had gone the other way. since the vote for the common market was lost in the 70,s i,m still waiting to be convinced that the european experiment has been good for me and the majority of the country at large. every time i hear a pro european spout then i,m more convinced about acheiving the impossible and getting out.

They do not and will not in the future...because it does not fit their narrow agenda....which is to look after their own interests.
This is not representative democracy....it is autocratic democracy.
They want what is good for them rather than what(and who) they were elected to represent.

S’funny, if politicians weren’t such blatant liars, but 24,000 knew exactly what they voted for in a manifesto but, after Cameroon came back with nothing from the EUSSR and called the referendum, 14,000,000 didn’t know what Leave meant.
This guy clearly thinks his electorate are idiots. And if they vote for him again, they are.

He already said that we were not educated enough to make the decision abot leaving the EU...so yes he does think those who elected him are thick.....but some people are so blikered they would vote for a donkey as long as it was wearing a labour party rosette.

I voted For tis man once...because I had high hopes that he understood what his constituents needs were...and that he would be the best person to fulfil those needs.
What a fool I was...he got down to the metropolis and had his head turned.....so that he is more interested in what goes on in Africa than Accrington.
Needless to say, at the last election he did NOT get my cross in his box....and Never again will I vote for this man.....and I guess that he doesn't really care because he knows that there are those out there he can bamboozle and convince with his bullshine.

doubt he will not be the only one thats fallen into that catogary. i know its worse in africa than this country but when poverty is mentioned there always seems to me that they are up in arms straight off by this doing all they are able to do yet a blind eye is used to any poverty in their own country. wonder how much foreign aid we would get if we needed it.

My point is...he is elected to promote the needs of his constituency....NOT Africa(Uganda and the Yemen).....and if he is off on a jolly in Africa then he is being paid by the likes of you and me and he is NOT doing what he is PAID to do.

Poverty anywhere in the world is dealt with by foreign aid budgets...and (I know this is off thread) goes to the wrong places...any country that has a Space program(like India) should not be taking money from our foreign aid budget...the other thing it is spent on totally the wrong things.

In my opinion, the money need to go to sorting out the infrastucture in our own country and dealing with the thorny issue of social care and homelessness.

But then that is another subject altogether

It is hard to forget the politicians who have given us so much to remember.
To despise them for.
For taking democracy and grinding it into the dust.
For thwarting the will of those who put you into Parliament to serve them.
For being deaf to the needs of those who rely on you for support.
For denying sovereignty and the ability to make our own way in the world.
For disrespecting the lives of our grandfathers in two major conflicts....those who fought for our freedom from dictators.
For surrendering our country to The EU.....who want to see us in tatters.
You are a spineless gutless bunch....but the time will come when we will be given the chance to extract payment for your treachery.

Remember the traitors when you next go to the ballot box.

Cashy, there is no such thing as a Labour Party anymore.
There is something that calls itself the Labour party...but it is not the party that it was when it fought for the working class.

It changed under the auspices of Tony Blair...the arch war criminal.
It lost its Socialist roots, but unfortunately its Socialist followers are in denial about this and will continue to vote in perpetuity for an organisation that does not have their interests at its core...as long as it is wearing Labour party colours they will vote for it...because it is tradition....no thought goes into it....it is a reflex action...like Pavlovs dogs.
