Going back to the washing up thing I don't know if this is a peculiarity on my part but I'm funny about the washing up. I have an order in which things are washed and if pans are washed up before cups it seems all wrong to me. Also I only put things of the same kind in the dish together, so all the cups go in first and only after they are finished do small plates go in, then dishes or dinner plates, followed by pans etc. I'd never be able to cope with a dish washer.

We don't put pans in the dishwasher we do them by hand (sometimes).

i must admit i hate it when bubbles are left on the washing up

i am a strong believer in rinsig the pots and plates etc before drying i guess ime paranoid i will be able to taste soap in my next meal

and before anyone says it yes i am aware my mouth occasionaly could do with washing out with soap lol
