Re: AccyWebbers' Favourite View

Standing outside my front door looking down the street are the railway arches, that is my favourite view. In fact i have a painting of it in my living room and it's always been admired.

Got to agree with you Garinda, I especially love the view of Ossie from Green Haworth. Outside the UK, I'd have to say the view of the Canadian Rockies whilst relaxing in the Banff hotsprings - bliss!

Beautiful views anywhere in the Rockies ... relax in the dome car of the trans continental with a beer ... or drive thro any of the passes: the Rogers is great, but I prefer the Kicking Horse Pass. And at the opposite extreme, a drive thro the prairies on the Trans Canada thro southern Saskatchewan ... land of the living skies, from Medicine Hat to the Manitoba border.

My boys both visited Accy a lot when they were younger and when we get a cold day here in October with rain on the wind from the north-west they say it's just like England.
These days everyone seems to knock so much about England but there is a lot that is unique and easy to miss...read my post on "Eating with your fingers" to find out one!!
If you ever fancy a house swap please give me a nod.
