Off topic I know, how are you barb good to 'see' you posting again. Yes it is high time we let our 'kids' be 'kids' In my day the main, source of child molestation was the boy scouts or the church choir etc. Parents used to send their kids to these activities/meetings safe in the knowledge that they would return home better for it, how wrong they were.

Things have tightened up now.The Scout leaders/Choirmaster/Vicar will have been CRB checked so that's something.I know you can never be sure that one hasn't slipped through the net Ian Huntley style but you can't let it stop kids having interests,hobbies and getting out & about.

kids should be outside playing, mine does, and i sometimes sit outside to , if its nice!, if not i always check on him to make sure hes still around, but it only takes a second for some thug or perv to come along!, but if you make you child stay in because of this then you are gonna make em scared to go anywhere, as long as you know where they are and check on them they might be ok, i know some parents who dont even bother where they kids are, them are the ones probably causing all the trouble,!
