the best 2 best boozer in accy are no longer with us

teh corners and the shifters night club were great

I remember them both ....the corners used to be the cock and bull and it closed because I beleive it was demolished it was across from Karrimor and shifters was upstairs next to the classic cinema the landlord bloke there was a prat who thought he was gods gift.

Am I suffering from severe dementia? What Classic cinema? I only remember the Odeon and the Princess in Accy and the Palladium up Ossy.........and where was the Cock & Bull? I remember the Black Bull, demolised for the Arndale carpark, but Cock & Bull? Never hard of it....

The cock and bull / corners was on the corner of water street (i think it was water street) and the classic was once the odeon

definately opened as the cock and bull then changed to corners....i would've been about 13 or 14 then it changed it's name to the corners and was very popular

Odeon did change it's name to Classic, but i don't remember Cock and Bull.
