Oh how times change.. when I lived in Accy only posh people had cars so any pub you visited was on foot.. I remember walking up t'Shoulder n Mutton.. took me and my mate 4 hours through fields n snow....got there and it was full of bikers.... Sycamore Farm in Lowerhouse(near Rosegrove) does a cracking carvery...according to the missus who lunches out there on regular ocassions. not as cheap as some but never the less great. It is a really popular place with an excellent childrens area, we went the day after Boxing Day and the wait for a table was nearly 2hrs ( we did`nt bother) and they were lining up on the car park as we left........maybe the credit crunch hadn`t hit Burnley then........:rolleyes: and i`m sure if you ask them nicely they will carve the meat to match the size of your gob!!!!
