Bumped into Barrie Foster this aft, in the watering hole before the match, shame stanley played crap, with him attending, Bernie who said at the meet, she would come "Didn't" proving what i always say- Never take a Womans Word.:D

Can't recall saying at meet that I would be there:confused: Did say in an earlier thread that given plenty of notice I might just risk going to a match but given the way the Stanley played today with Barrrie in attendance you might want to cancel the mere thought of me being there;)

Probably not the best day to come, Bernie. :o Very nice to meet Barrie...my parting words to him, as I left the pub were "Prepare to be converted." I think possibly he may not have been. :rolleyes:

How right you are Bernie - until they learn to talk to each other they will continue to play rubbish. Start of the second half they did and started to play well - then silence - crap football, Cheltenhamgot the third and we departed for the Oak - at least got a good pint in there and as a bonus got to watch some good football.
Wyn, great to meet you and of course it is always a pleasure to see Cashy and enjoy his brand of humour.
