Age gap is not problem. In a couple of years he will be older enough to babysit while you go out at weekends :D

As for age, Rhonda is 40 on Sunday and Emily is only 3.

Im 27 and have decided to get sterilised as i dont want to go through another section. A lot of people are against it saying that im not thinking straight and that i will regret it in a few years time.
The thing is i really dont want any more kids, i think 2 is enough and i have the couple, if i could have the 3rd baby natural then yeah i would but i know i cant as i have been told that the 3rd one would be a section.

I tend to think along the lines of 'mother nature'. If a woman has passed her natural child bearing years then nature is telling us that she is too old to be a Mum. Unfortunately that happens to some people when they are younger than others. It also happens that younger women don't necessarily conceive when they would like to. I would have loved to have had my children when I was younger but it just didn't happen.

It seems tragic too when you see people who have numerous children but don't seem to care for them or look after them properly and others who would dearly love to be parents just aren't able to.

You are the only one who knows your own personal situation Yolande and if you know you couldn't go through that again then what you are doing is sensible for you.

Seem to remember being told the same when I made the decision(for exactly same reason as you) and haven't regretted it ever. It is your decision Yolanda, go for it if it is what you really want:)
