If we're going down that road - tennis, golf and motor racing, in that order.

I have taken a lot of deep breaths....but they come out as deep sighs.
I don't watch much TV anyway, but what has been on has irritated the bejasus out of me...especially as the man in my house seems to take it all so blooming seriously....like it is all life and death. For goodness sake - tell me does it really matter?

No - I don't mind those - in fact I can tolerate most other sports like foorball cricket and rugby. But people take tennis so seriously especially at Wimbledon, golf is just so long drawn out, and motor racing is so noisy, for a start, and there's far too much money involved. Please don't tell me that's true of most sports, I know, it just seems so much more in your face with the cars.

I wouldn't say I would watch any of the other sports for long, but darts is quite fun on a cold winter's evening at the start of the new year, and I have been known to watch Morecambe v Stanley on the odd occasion.

I haven't mentioned athletics and racing - have been to both dogs and horses and enjoyed them both, and athletics can be quite interesting if you watch a series of heats in any event. And I do enjoy catching the odd glimpse of things like rowing and gymnastics during the olympics - oh and the weightlifting! and the winter olympics too...

So I shall not be glued to the screen for the olympics but maybe it would be better to have the games on the other side of the world then there would only be a highlights package to watch rather than wall to wall coverage!

I had major surgery when I was 39....and this made me rather slow at moving around......I was getting up from the sofa(heading for the loo) and I inadvertently broke wind.....himself said it was the first time in 20 years of marriage that he had heard me do that. I was thoroughly embarassed - he said I was daft.

Words that sound funny when spoken out loud,
Chutney,
Burglars,
Couscous,
Hummus.

They have to be spoken out loud to appreciate that they sound funny.

Oh, and people who talk to themselves.

Moths
Camping and campers especially when they try to dress it up as 'glamping' - get a hotel room or stay at home and stop pretending it's fun sleeping on the ground outside, getting wet and filthy and sharing showers and toilets with complete strangers! Are they mad?
Ditto caravanners.
Ramblers in country pubs on Sunday lunchtimes taking over with damp clothes and muddy boots and equally muddy dogs on occasion, steaming the place up.
People who try to preach to poor mortals about healthy lifestyles (anti smoking, drinking, junk food pro mega exercise & marathon running) - have some fun and stop being so uptight or you'll have a heart attack!
Weeds and constantly growing grass in my garden!
Dust
Definitely the supermarket aisle blockers!
Bad manners and ignorant attitudes.
I could go on and on and on.........!
