And what about that spiffing wheeze the Wizz pulled in the supermarket a while ago? Slipping a packet of pork scratchings amongst a poor Jewish (or was she Muslim? I forget) woman’s shopping, then swanking and sniggering at the hulabaloo he caused on this forum, ...respect for different cultures eh? Oh yeah and no burqa, niqab, balaclava or hoodies involved there to cause any offence, alarums or confusion.

With nuns habit at least you can SEE the face of the person under the habit...and many Nuns these days do not wear such clothes, as they feel they prevent them from doing the job they are allocated by alienating them from ordinary people.

Burqa's do exactly the same thing...they isolate the wearer, and intimidate those around them.

But we are talking about several hundred people in a country of 60 million. In other words it is perhaps 0.001% of the total British population. This is therefore a debate about something that would affect a very few people directly. That's important to bear in mind.
The chances of the Wizz or you tripping over a discarded Toblerone wrapper and finding a terrorist lurking amongst the Peacocks and Geese are what??

I don't know where you get your statistics from.
There are some towns in this country where a third of the population is comprised by people from this ethnic background.
Your levity (or perhaps what you perceive as levity) does not detract from the gravity of the situation.

As for statistics(of which you seem awfully fond) they are just lies dressed up in their Sunday Best, and tell you only what the statistician wants you to believe.
