Wishing you all a very Merry Xmas!

Was sitting out on the balcony a while ago drinking my morning cup of tea with mum and we had a fantastic display as a pod of whales swam past an unusual Xmas day greeting as they don-t usually come in so close to the shore.

Hope this finds you all well and that you have a lovely day wherever you are celebrating.

Dianne...you are making us all envious here......it is grey and damp.....but not really cold.
Have a great celebration...I know that for you it is more than Christmas you are celebrating.
Have a wonderful time and give my best wishes to your parents...and a special hug to your mum(tell her she was always my favourite teacher).

I think you are pulling our legs, no whales swam past that view.

Today in Pictures, looking for Jeppe Knave, aka. Jeppe Curteys, aka. Geoffrey Curtis. He was a wrong un, but did we find him.

1. Parked up and start point.
2. Looking down on Sabden.
3. Looks like its a bit mushy underfoot.
4. Never seen pink moss before.
5. Here its just walls and wilderness.
6. Its very brown.
7. The walls just go on until they vanish over the horizon.
8. Thats a bit of a worry.
9. I think we have found him.
10. Here he is cast into a neolithic burial mound in 1327, he was a highwayman who was caught and decapitated, the inscription was put on the stone in the 60's. Follow the link to read the very interesting story, and realise it wasn't just witches up Pendle Hill.

By the time we were back at the car we were wet through to the knickers.

It serves me right for wearing them on my head when it is raining. I don't use talcum, its too soft I use Ajax powder.

Like I always say, I wet my knickers so you don't have too.

Yep - a quick google shows it's still available - and Vim... though you have to look on the bottom shelf at the supermarket.

Yes... a super-boring day - must be if I'm driven to look up things like that!
